It was pouring rain and the venue’s only bathroom was out of order so we all went running down the block to the nearest bar every so often. The mic was wrapped in masking tape, and I probably had too many chai lattes. But I don’t know, after the first couple of songs I felt less like throwing up than I usually do, and I always have so much fun playing with Owen, and generally the people there were all people of whom I am incredibly fond.

I don’t know for certain who you are, but I could probably hazard a guess. I love you.
