(Expired Kodak Royal Gold 400, exposed at 200, loaded in a Minolta x-700, except for Chelsea in the window, shot with Fuji Superia 200, loaded in a Canon AE-1)
I don’t think I’ll ever like the look of expired film, but it’s hard to resist the Depot For Creative Reuse. It’s just down the street! Sometimes they have rolls of unexposed film! Mostly they have boxes and boxes of discarded slides, abandoned 4x6 prints, bolts of fabric, cartons of staples, faded books (once I could not refrain from buying a copy of Leonard Nimoy’s Warmed by Love ), accordions, wires, crusty tubes of acrylic, christmas ornaments, and VHS tapes. I’ll probably still make Japhy shoot the Kodak Gold 200 I picked up last time, when I was, as always, completely intoxicated by all the stuff and totally incapable of making any reasonable decisions.
